Originally the east wing had a street accessible door. This feature was necessary for traveling salesmen who were able to “keep shop” in the hotel for extended periods allowing customers to view and place orders from the sample products they carried from town to town. The Sample Room features a full-size bed as well as a full bath.

Each of the Eureka’s 14 rooms is uniquely decorated in the style of the late 1800s with a casually elegant yet homelike atmosphere. Modern amenities include spacious rooms with private bath, advanced soundproofing, voicemail, climate control and more (like those hand-ironed sheets).
The inn is completely non-smoking, including porches, garden and gazebo.
