The Jury Room is famous in Jonesborough’s history. Prior to women serving on juries, the twelve men serving as jurors for an extended trial would be required to spend the night in this one room on a routine basis.
A renowned local craftsman meticulously built the beautiful precision armoires that conceal the beds and quickly convert the room into a meeting area for social or business gatherings. Large and beautifully appointed, this room features two full-size beds with a day bed and a trundle to sleep four comfortably. An additional vanity with sink enclosing a mini-refrigerator is also in the room.
The Jury Room is located on the second floor, #220.
